Encoder 1 Not Working... HELP

Afternoon Chaps,

This morning after much scroller calibration, we mananged to knacker the number one encoder!  We were able to lift the wheel right off, it seems that the little grub screw has managed to work its way loose.  We are going to swap the console out at some point soon... but for the time being I am at a loss to know what we ought to do about all of our NIPS on the first encoder (shutters, colours, beam shifters, etc...).

Anyone got any bright ideas?

  • Macros! and the +/-% keys.

I've run into this before and what I did was select the NIP in the CIA and use the +/-% keys, (which I have set to 05%), but then also made some macros that are: [@] [+] 01 [Enter] and  [@] [+] 10 [Enter]  (and their - counterparts).

The only drag is that you must reselect the NIP each time before you hit the +/-%... but it works in a pinch.

    Hope that Helps
