Patching Bug

Hi ETC.

This predates 1.9.6.

In Patch, I select channel xx [Enter].

THe screen jumps down to display that channel.  It displays the columns to the right.

I hit Attributes to look at the ML settings.  The display reverts back to channel 1, so I either need to scroll down to channel 100, or re-type 100 [Enter].

If I hit a SK to edit the attributes of my original channel xx, the change is applied correctly: the Ion has still selected the correct channel, regardless of the patch display.  The details in the CIA box are still accurate for xx, but I can't compare that channel to the nearby channels for settings, because the display has jumped all the way to channel 1.

This display jump occurs when moving between any of the three displays: Patch, attributes, database.

Thanks.

  • Hi Andrew-

I'm not seeing this, at least in Offline 1.9.6. Does it always happen for you?

  • I've never used the off-line.

I'm not in patch that often (house rig), and I don't often need to see attibutes/database pages.  but yes, I'd say it's consistent.

I just booted up the console: same thing.  channel 130 stays in the command line.  the info in the CIA relates to channel 130.  the top portion of the screen flips back to channel 1, so if I'm comparing channel 130 to 131, I need to type 130 [Enter] again.

Just hitting [enter] with the command line stating 130* doesn't refresh back to displaying 130.  I need to manually type 130 [Enter].
