Stop a Running Effect - ION 2000

Hi,

I have created an Effect and it is working the way it is meant to however, I can't stop it other than selecting each fixture and manually stopping the effect.

Is there a command to stop the Effect 1 from continuing to run? Also if I add an effect to a cue when I go to the next cue that doesn't have the same effect running, will it stop running once the next cue is executed?

I just want to be sure about these effects before I start adding them to my cues. Again, I apologise in advance if this is a noob question. :)

  • Hi, you can select the channels and use Effect Enter - for example [1][Thru][5][Effect][Enter]. If you want to stop all running effects, press the [Fader Control] button and then you'll have a softkey called {Stop Effect}.

Once effects are running, they follow the same rules as any other level/instruction - they will record into cues if they are running. If you want it in one cue only, use the [Cue Only] modifier as normal.

    Hope that helps!
