RFR annoyances

I'm using my RFR in channel check mode and I noticed the following issues, not sure if anyone has a work around for me:

-GM Exempt channels come to full, but don't go back out when I hit clear or move on to the next channel.

-Every channel seems to be fading up in a 1 sec fade, then back down in a 1 sec fade.  I have a manual fade time of 1 sec set for up, down, color, focus, but only on my EOS console (which is running as backup) the RPU (master) and ION (client) are both still set to 0 for all.

-I seem to have to replace the rechargeable batteries in my RFR every couple of months, am I doing something wrong?  I'm using NiMH of the largest capacity I can find.  The last set were even installed by ETC when we sent our RFR in for some other issues, but they still don't last for more than a couple of months.

  • Howdy Bryan,

I currently don't have a RFR in my hand to check your first two points.

What is your display timeout time sent to? The display trains alot of battery

power, and I generally leave it at 10 or 30 seconds, which will keep the batteries

good for longer. Having a time out of a minute find ich way too long.

What version of Handheld are you using? v2.0.7 Has functions built in to help

    lengthen the battery live.
