Part Cues

Hi

I'm trying record part cues and when I alter a channel (intensity or colour) but the changes track backwards (trace) thru to the other parts.

What am I'm doing wrong?

Cheers

  • Yes.  Channels and their attributes can only have one value each per cue.

A part allows you to time their fades separately, not change values from part to part.  The reason why they appear to be tracking (or in this case null) is that they show you the overall cue, with only the information highlighted/colored for the part selected.

Edit: Looks like I simulposted with Daniel.

  • You can only store values for each attribute of a channel in one part per cue, so you could have the intensity change in part 1 and the colour in part 2, but you can't have intensity doing one thing in part 1 and another in part 2.

Basically the Eos is indicating to you that you the channel/attribute you are looking at is included in the cue, but has values in a different part of that cue. The values in grey will be the same as those you have stored in the part where they actually change, not values tracked from a previous cue.

    Hope that makes sense?!
