If you do not want changes to track forward into subsequent cues, use the [Cue Only] button before recording or updating.

This is true even using only cue.
Notehappens when I edit.
Are you editing live or blind? Is the desk in track mode? If the desk is in track mode:
and you are editing live, the QOnly command is applied at the point of updating or recording.
or if you are editing blind, the QOnly command is applied at a channel parameter level when the change is made.
