Ion network adaptor offline???

we hooked up our RVI to our Ion tonight and now the network adaptor doesn't seem to be working . .  this console and RVI were working together less than a week ago ..

is this a "user fixable" issues .. or did the network card in my Ion bite the dust .. how can I tell?

I go into tech tomorrow night . . . ARGH!!!

p.s. I am having A LOT of Ion issues lately . . .

    What is the Make/Model of the Hub/Switch you are connected to? What network speed/mode is it

    running in? 1GB and Autonegatiating or Full Duplex? Could you swap out a different switch and

    see if the problem continues?

    Could you find this information out and then contact your dealer or ETC Tech Services for further troubleshooting?

  • Hi Paul

    It is sometimes the case that the network card on an Ion will disable itself if it doesn't see anything on the Network upon power up. If you are running directly into the RVI, just try making sure this is powered up first, before the Ion and it should be fine.

    Just a thought to try.
