Change Master Cue List on Ion

Does anyone know how to change which cue list is assigned as  the "Master", i.e., uses the main "GO" button on the console? Can this be done dynamically? I tried to use the "Go to Cue" button, but the next time is pressed GO it fired cue list 1 instead of the cue list I had gone to.

  • It should be [cue][n][/][enter] (where n is the cue list number), then press[load]and possibly [enter]. I'm not at a console and I tried offline on my mac, but it was a little funky with using the hotkeys.

    Yes, very close bosox242,

    To the OP, Let's say your sitting in cue list 1 cue 1 and want to go to cue list 2 cue 1.

    (This would be 1/1 going to 2/1.)

    Press: [cue] [2/] [enter] [load]

    It is then loaded on the master fader hit go & you'll go to cue list 2 cue 1. 

    If you want to select a cue deeper in the cue list, like say, cue 3,

    Press: [cue] [2/3] [enter] [load]

    GO will put you in cue list 2 cue 3.

    Also a worth while bit of information is, if you have a fader wing -  if you map one of the faders to playback 0 it will work as what ever you have loaded on your master. You can change the cues on your master playback and it will change on your fader wing.
