solid state drive replaceing the twirling one

has anyone had issues replacing the hard drive in their eos desk with a solid state drive?

seems like all you need to do is image the old drive to the new one. could I be wrong????

this would realy speed up load time and boot time

Doesn't the Eos have 2 hard drives? One for storage (aka Show File Archive), & a separate one for the OS & Eos application?
Which one would you be replacing?
Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly...

From the last time I opened up my EOS, I'm pretty sure it's one drive with two data partitions, unless there is a small drive hiding under one of the circuit boards.
