Submaster mixing (LEDs)

Tried searching for an answer but no luck as yet.

I'm running Chauvet Colorado Tri Tours and LEDJ Omni Tri LED lanterns along with ETC Paletta floods.

I'm trying to set up each group of lanterns on each of Red, Green and Blue output on groups of 3 subs, with the aim of being able to mix those groups on the fly for each given area.

However I'm struggling - despite trying exclusive, independent, and various other options I cannot get them to do wht I need.

Any suggestions?

Hello Ynot

Are you just recording single parameters into the subs? So set the Red to full and then say [Channel Numbers] {Red} [Record] [Sub] [X] [Enter]. Then just do the same for the other parameters.

Hmmm...

No - Bringing channel master levels to full, then setting RED to full on the colour picker then[Channel Numbers] [RECORD[ [SUB] [X] [Enter]...

I'm guessing that's not the way then...

You didn't follow Nick's syntax. You left out the {RED} part, which would be crucial if you wanted to just record the RED parameter.

Also, even after you do that, you are going to realize that bringing up the RED submaster isn't going to get you any output unless you have the unit's intensity up as well.

Ok - It works for me outline. Bring the channels to full setting Red to Full and then [Channels] [RED] (using the CIA to select red on the command line) Record sub X. If you don't put Red before record you will record the whole channel.

Does that work how you want......
