So now, with the newest iRFR update, at least it give messages when it crashes. This is what I'm getting:

Socket Read Failed

Socket is not Connected

Any ideas what is going on?

  • Ok after spending a couple of hours testing different  settings this is what I came up with

Make sure [ ask to join networks is on

go to each WiFi that you might pick up in the theatre or building your are working in

    except the one controling console

and tell it to forget this network  after doing this I would only get bumped was when i was out of range

But with in about 30 seconds after getting back in range it would reconnect on its own and shortly after that the app would link up

at worst i had to go back to the welcome screen and reconnect and i was good unless i went out of range again

not sure if it is even possable to link a specific WIFI with an specific app

    hope this helps

  • Hi Guys,

The update for the iRFR app contained half of the fix for the connectivity issues.  The other half of the fix had to be made in the console software, which will be released as part of the upcoming 1.9.11 patch that is now in the final stages of open beta.

You may still participate in open beta if you need the fix ASAP:
