Ion : LTP mode when using a sub master while not programed as LTP ....

Hey everyone,

Informations :

I programmed a show on the ETC Element , i am now using the ION board, i updated both of the boards with the same soft.

I use a fader wing 2x 10 .

Problem :

I load my show and everything is working as usual on the Ion desk (subs, cues...) EXCEPT, when i create a new sub master , this one is playing on stage like if it was programmed in LTP, while when i go to the sub list IT IS NOT programmed as LTP but as HTP.

Please someone could help me for this ?

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the behaviour you're experiencing when you say LTP, but if when you move the fader from zero the values jump to the levels of the Submaster, it may be that it is set as Independent.

Check the Priority column in the Submasters editor display, if this says Independent this may be what's causing your problem.

The default behavior for Subs on Element and Ion is HTP.

Channel faders on Element are LTP. Could this be where the confusion lies?

I know the default behavior for Subs on element and ion is HTP, while channel faders is LTP.

The fact is that when using a fader wing on ion, the masters on it can be only used as playback or sub masters, not as channel faders isn't it ?

So it shouldn't be a problem.

The strange thing is also that the intensity level and number of faders doesn't appear on the wing screen while it is working...

Then maybe something is programmed in the show or desk set-up, i already tried also in the sub masters set-up in the show displays... And no answers !

This thing is driving me crazy !
