Clearing a Sub or anything else from the Fader Wing.

Hello all,

I've searched the forums to no avail, and I'm sure it's come up, but...

I recorded subs into my faders and then wanted to organize them differently.  Went to clear the fader, with no luck.  Went to record over them and it changed to a proportional master for the replacing sub.  Deleted the sub and it kept the sub assigned but so when I recreated the sub it just went back.

Maybe the proper terminology would be how do I re-assign, or de-assign a fader on the wing?

Thanks

Jim

  • Hi Jim,

It partly depends on what version you are running. If you are on 1.9.8 or up you can use [Shift]+[Load] to unmap a fader. (Load is pressing the two buttons under the fader together). You can then select another sub i.e. [Sub] 2 [Enter] and then press [Load] to map that sub to that fader.

Alternatively go to Displays > Setup > Show > Show Settings and select 'Fader Configuration', here you can set what each fader does by selecting the option from the four available, then tap the button at the bottom, enter a number and then hit [Enter]. Tap {Close} then {OK}.

    Hope that helps
