Need Profile for GLP X4s

stupid question: after changing the fixture type in patch (and then the flashing started), have you tried to go to Live and do a GoToCue Out Enter?

With the fixture in normal mode according the DMX chart address 14 with a non zero value runs various pan tilt movements, with 255 on that parameter making it do random movement.  

Likewise random colours is address 5 at full

If you are not seeing the profile for this fixture, I would be happy to submit a request to the Eos team if you are able to provide the fixture's manual (with DMX chart). If you believe the profile already exists in Eos software but is not written correctly please let me know which profile/mode you are using and I can compare it to the fixture's manual.

I've used these fixture successfully on EOS, so unless the fixture firmware has several versions, or the fixture profile has been changed on EOS, then these should work.

Perhaps an addressing or mode issue on the fixture, or some random data somehow getting onto your DMX network?

yes. didn't change the output in this case but thank you for suggestion!

It may have been a few local factors, but ultimately resetting the fixtures to factory settings, setting the fixtures back to normal mode in the menu, and patching in the console as "normal" mode worked. I think there may have been something in an internal setting that may have been affecting the output in "hi-res" mode, but I didn't have time to test all of the variables.

Thanks for the replies! After deleting the patch of the fixtures, resetting the modes on the fixtures, and repatching with both the fixture and console in "Normal" mode, I believe I have full control. I didn't get "Hi-Res" mode to ever fully work (if I had more time...), but "Normal" is more than enough for my needs.

At some point in the process I also disabled RDM over the ETC Response nodes that were providing data to the fixtures for an unrelated issue. I don't have any empirical evidence to suggest that this affected the result either negatively or positively.

FYI: there is a feature on these fixtures that prevents pan and tilt if menus are being navigated.
