Cameo ZENIT W600

"Cameo ZENIT W600", a Washer and Strobe.

* I'm looking for modes that support "Duration" (which is sadly missing in the lower modes):
39CH Mode (also fine: 42CH, 48CH, 54CH)

* For EOS v3.x

* Its relatively urgent, festival is running already, Fixture will be used on July 18th :/

Thanks!

  • Hello Justin,
so many Modes and calibrated Colors. And all in a snatch. Wow, very impressiv.

I briefly scanned the higher Modes and run into a "Cooling Fan" Parameter.
After rereading the Manual it turned out to be the Control-Channel and the Function is not a Cooling Fan.
Further more the Manual states that after setting the DMX-Value for that mode, the Channel-DMX should be set back to DMX0 to avoid trouble. So this better should be corrected.

    Found in Modes:

    -10Ch
    -15Ch
    -39Ch
    -42Ch
    -54Ch

    ---

And i found it a little bit sad that the Strob Mode is so clumbed together and has a quite short and sometimes misleading labeling.
Regarding the 6 different Modes(Manual) that are made into 4Modes(EOS).

    Yours

  • Hi Justin,
thanks for this. Good to have this fixture in the lib!

Tho I do agree with Mathilda, about the strobe modes.
Also its value range is raw DMX, instead of a more useful 1..20Hz.
And there is the discussion about standardizing fixture defs: using raw DMX numbers for the modes defeats the purpose of having user values. A universal user value - e.g. 0 for Shutter closed, 1 for Open, 2 for Strobe, 3 for Pulse etc etc - would make more sense imho. Like Mathilda did in her definitions!

Anyway, don't want to become the moaning mannie ;) Thanks for having those realised in all modes and cell-variants!
