Fixture request: Silver Star Pluto 250 Hybrid - 15 and 18 Channel Modes

Hello, 

When searching for the manual online I found this site: https://www.showtech.com.au/product/pluto-250-hybrid-moving-head/

The manual is in the downloads section and it shows the 16ch and 19ch modes.  Do you have a pdf of the full manual that you are referencing? are we sure it is not a different fixture, or a new version of this fixture software?

Apparently there are 2 versions out there. 

Thanks for the link to the online manual. Yes looks like there is 2 versions of this fixture currently but can only find 16/19ch mode versions on ETC.

I have submitted a request for the 15ch and 18ch profiles to be added.

This fixture can be found in Eos Fixture Library v3.1.3build 8 (or newer build).  We have called this fixture the Silver Star - Pluto 250 with Frost.

Unfortunately still appears to be in 16 ch and 19 ch modes only - not 15 and 18 channels as these fixtures are requiring, so doesn't seem to work effectively...

I am sorry about that.  I will see what I can find out for you.

Apologies, this seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding on my part.  you should find these profiles available: 

• Silver Star - Pluto 250 Basic = 15 channels
• Silver Star - Pluto 250 Standard = 18 channels
• Silver Star - Pluto 250 with Frost Basic = 16 channels
• Silver Star - Pluto 250 with Frost Standard = 19 channels

I have had a look at these and yes can see that there are 4 versions (2 with Frost and 2 without) however it appears that all versions are 16 and 19 channels only. I still cannot seem to find any Pluto 250 in 15 and 18 ch modes after the most recent update. Both Basic and Standard seem to be 16 and 19 and w/ Frost is 16 and 19 channels as well. If I am doing something wrong please let me know so that I can find the updated versions. Thanks for all of your assistance with this!

You are not doing anythign wrong.  We have found the reason why it is not posting propperly in the software and are working to resolve.  I will let you know once it is corected, and I will double-check it myself.

This has now been corrected in eos softwaare v3.1.5, fix lib v3.1.5.1.  Pluto 250 has 15 and 18 channel options.  Pluto 250 with Frost has the 16 and 19 channel options.

Hi Justin, it's taken me a little while to get around to running this update. However I did recently and found that in the new update the Pluto 250 has 15 and 19 Channel mode - not 15 and 18 as it should. And the Pluto with Frost has 16 and 19 Channel mode. Still no 15 and 18 channel mode though for the Pluto 250. Please let me know if you see the same at your end. Thank you!

I think the issue was that the previous version of this fixture was still associated with my current show so didn't update automatically - seems to be EOS policy so as not to cause issues with current patched fixtures (even though I wasn't using that version). So I noticed the asterick symbol and could update from there. All looking good and had a quick play and seems to be operating as it should. Thanks again!!!
