Feature and improvement suggestions

Feedback from users like you help us shape and improve Eos for all productions. We receive a large number of feature requests and suggestions from many sources, including this forum. Your comments and votes help us understand which features you’re passionate about, but there are many additional factors which inform development prioritization for any given release.

The most helpful information you can provide us when commenting on issues is how a particular suggestion would help you. If you describe your use-case and how the suggested change would benefit your work, it lets us gain a much deeper understanding of the need behind the suggestion. Suggestions often have an impact on what we work on, even if we ultimately choose not to implement a suggestion exactly as it’s described. Our ultimate goal is to understand what you and all users need and to create solutions that meet those needs. Occasionally, that’ll mean implementing a suggestion as described, but it usually means working to understand the need behind the suggestion and how we can meet that need for as many users as possible.

While we endeavor to update and respond to popular suggestions, the volume we receive means there will be occasions when we can’t provide an update or response in a timely manner. For bugs and show-critical issues, please use our standard forums and support structures: https://www.etcconnect.com/Contact/Technical-Support.aspx

  • MobileRFR - Better Fader Controls

Hi there, This request is mostly for iPad, but it would be nice if faders could be upgraded in the MobileRFR app, the recent addition of multitouch control of faders in Eos 3.3 has made me want it in the app to control multiple subs at the same time...
  • "Music rule" guidelines on cue (PSD) list displays

This is a simple one, but on a cue list display, it would be useful I think to alternate rows with a light and dark colour (not a contrasty black and white, just light and medium grey, say) so that the eye can easily follow across the screen. A good example...

  • Labeling More Than One Thing In Macros

I would love the ability for have a macro that writes a series of targets IE. Pallets, Presets, Groups etc. and can label them without having to go back through each and label individually. I know it has something to do with how the console exits the...
  • OSC "Connections"

I would love to see the ability to separate OSC and Strings settings into “connections” that can be turned on/off individually as well as globally. Currently, enabling/disabling OSC and Strings is an all-or-nothing toggle. There are many times where I...

Hi there! I’d love an easy and intuitive way to determine which NICs are used by Eos/Augment3d in a multi-console, tethered, and wireless networks.

  • Groups on Apex Mini-Wheels

Those who know me will know that this is really the start of yet another go at a much bigger discussion, but as a relatively simple starting point: Could we please have the ability to assign groups to the Apex mini-wheels? So as soon as you move the...

Hej Folks, it would be so nice if I look in for a group in about it woud not only show which channels are included but how many there are in the group as well without me counting them. That would be nice!
  • Rework +%/-% so you can double-press with manual fade.

I used to use +%/-% quite a bit, but often would double-press to get to the value I wanted. Unfortunately the way it currently operates, the second +% press will add to the value of the fixture mid-fade. For example, Ch 1 starts at 50%, with +% set to...
