Is it possible to move the grandmaster? When having a wing on the left side of the desk, you have the grandmaster in the middle. Can you move it to the right?
Hmmm. Not sitting in front of a Hog right now, so I may have gotten the syntax wrong, but I could have sworn this worked.
From the manual:

3.2.1 Faders
The number of masters has been increased from eight to ten, while the Grand Master and Cross Fade Master have been removed. Any master can now act as a Grand Master. For more detailed information, see Working with Playback Controls (p.311).

Oddly, there is no other reference to this in the manual. Hopefully someone from HES will chime in today.
I will have to look further into the manual as you describe Phil. I think that this is old functionality from the very early days of the console (I remember moving the GM around). However you have not been able to do this for a long time now.
But you can always create your own "grand master" by having a group with all fixtures and MOVING this to any master. It will create an inhibitive submaster for all fixtures which is the same as the grand master.
Wouldn't be a bad thing to add back. Then I could put the master on a wing. Plus I would not have to worry about making sure that I have not forgotten a fixture in the group.

Peter,
A good trick to ensure you get ALL your fixtures selected (anytime you need ALL fixtures) is to just type 1 thru 10000 on your command line. This will grab all fixtures with numbers between 1 and 10000, which in most cases are all within a show. You can change the second number to 1000 if you know you did not number higher than 1000 (or to whatever your highest fixture number is).
I will log the suggestion to bring back movable grand masters..
