Hi there -

This type of fixture will require that you use 8 device channels to control the 8 sections individually. SFML cannot control the separate sections under one device number.

Hi Sarah,

Could You trick the board into thinking that fixture's DMX is not that it is? EX. Fixture's DMX channel for the 4th block: dimmer, Board's attribute fader: frost?   Does that make sense?

Yes, technically you can build the profile any way you want to, however if you plan to use palettes or effects it could become quite complicated since you're now controlling color parameters on non-color faders, if you know what I mean. You'll have to determine what's going to work best for you in your situation.
