Fader Bank

Hello,

I have my fader bank bank working with Nomad, however when nomad first starts it won't see the faders until the arduino is rebooted, is there something I am missing (I am fairly new to arduino programming).  I can get the box 1 to communicate fine on startup with nomad.

Which board did you use? What is the code base?

It’s an Uno, as well a Mega 2560, (both generic version). Using your fadewing.ino the only thing I changed is making it a 2 fader version.

I also added the fadewing parts into the box1 code which worked but only after rebooting the arduino. However without rebooting it, only the encoders would works.

this is using nomad 2.9 on windows 10 pro. 

The problem is that after a reconnection the initFader() function must done (hidden in the eosInit() function), normaly this should done after the connection is established., you will see it in the Diagnostic Tab (99). Did you work with eOS library or the #lighthack samples on my Github site? Can you post the code here as a .zip or send me a message?

Hello, I have a interesting phenomenon. I made a 10 fader 20 button fader bank, this ik working fine on my Apple with Nomad, but not on WIN10 on a Surface Pro. I think this has probably to do with the PID VID ? Or should I look else where. I tested the WIN 10 nomad with a UNO with the USB test all working fine. The fader bank is using a  Arduino micro original.

Maybe a driver problem. Is the Arduino IDE installed on the Surface?

Not the full IDE only the driver part, it is visible in WIN10

What says the diagnostic tab (99) when you attach your board?

There are no command comming in, with the USB test Uno it is working fine. And on the Apple the commands are working on both. 

It is a driver problem but I can't help because I use macOS and have no Arduino Micro board.
