Net3 Gateway

I have a 4 port Net3 gateway that seems to no longer function on my network.  I was able to reset factory defaults and obtain a new IP address, however, it does not show up in the GCE and fixtures that have data run to them, I can not control.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I believe it's been a while since software has been updated on any of my gateways, could that be part of the problem?

  • This sort of sounds like the problem if the console is sending sACN of the released standard, which wasn't supported in the Gateway until v3.1. The easiest way to confirm this would be to exit Eos/Ion/Element and go the Settings button, then Network, then tick the box that says "Use draft sACN".

The fact that you cannot see the gateway in GCE doesn't really match up with this, however. I think Corey's suggestion of updating GCE to the latest version from the website is a good one.

Also feel free to call into your local support to walk through some suggestions.
