CEM3 ThruPower dimmer in switched position receives power after Lightng Console is turned off.

from the front of the CEM3 display, you can see in Abounl Menu, the source of cobtrol for those circuits that are always on - what does it say? Photo please? Also in Dimmer Setup the settings for one of those channels?

Hi Kathy - there are no photos to view there for external users. ABOUT SOURCE will say what intensity the Circuit is and what is controlling it. That info would be helpful.

thank you for the photos, they are most helpful. so in the about source information menu for the dimmers it shows the level at 100%.  So the question I have is why are they at full. Perhaps I don't understand how the "switched" dimmers work. My understanding is that when the console is off the power is off to the dimmer, In the past the clip light which is plugged into dimmer 192 would turn off when the console was turned off.  

When the dimmer is in the "switched" mode does the dimmer continue to supply power when the console is turned off?

when your console is off, and those circuits are still on - what is shown in the Source Info for the HTP_Source for that circuit that still has Lvl at 100%? 

It appears there is something in your system that is telling just those circuits to stay on. Maybe a button station or touchscreen somewhere or another console?

The HTPSource column shows sACN.  We do have a touch screen which we recently programmed some cues into from the lighting console.  Perhaps this is the reason they are on?

If your console is not sending control anymore but HTP source shows sACN 100% - then probably the touchscreen has a preset active that has those channels on. Could u turn off all presets on touch and see if the circuits go off?

The presets are currently off and the circuits are still on. 

Would the touchscreen be sending a signal to the circuit if the custom presets are off, but other presets such as the work lights are on?

Could be if they accidentally were recorded into worklights preset. You could double check by turning off all presets and channel control like worklights and then see if circuit finally goes off.

In the Eos Software, there is a Tab - sACN Output Viewer and it tells you which IP Addresses are currently sending data for specific addresses. Look in patch which universe/address that circuit has, and then in sACN Output Viewer Tab (Tab 37) you can see which devices are controlling it:

In your Eos Software from your console, in the Tab 37, are there two devices (with IPs controlling) the circuit in Question?

If so, what is the IP of the other device? Is it 10.101.10.101?

Thank you so much for your time and help with this issue. Thanks to your prompts and suggestions of where to look we did discover that the dimmers in question had indeed inadvertently been programmed into one of the presets on the touchscreen.  The dimmer(s) were in the parked position when the cue was programmed on the touchscreen. We went back to the console, un-parked the dimmers and put them at "0" then re-recorded the preset on the touch screen. Now the dimmers turn off when the console is turned off.
