Loading a Cue with a Magic Sheet

It sounds like a set of macros with corresponding buttons on the magic sheet will work best. If you aren't sure how to build the macro from scratch, you can Learn it and then edit the learned macro (duplicating and changing cue numbers as necessary) to make as many macros as you need for the individual cues that need to be loaded.

I was hoping to not have to do this, but I guess it will work. I just didn't want to have to create a macro for each cue. Thanks!

Another way to do it that avoids macros would be to insert a button on the magic sheet for each cue, with the Target set to Command. Then in the command area for the button, write out the series of commands that will be executed, i.e.:

"Load Cue 1/11"[Enter]

Of course, you will have to customize the cue number for each button.

No matter which way you do it, if you have a lot of cues then it will take some time to set up.

Or load cue [wait for input] enter. Some combination of that might work so you hit that button, type cue number, then macro button and it should. Maybe a combination of 2 magic sheet buttons, depending on work flow.
