So that almost works. It works fine going having the value jump from 127 to 0 (the stop)  But jumping from 0 to 128 (the other direction) it wants to go the other direction (not in a slow fashion first). 

For the most part this will work. Until I get a designer wanting to go the other direction. I assume the problem is with the console going from a value 50% to 51% as it is jumping dmx values to get there. I’ll try playing around with the dmx values when I get a bit more time.

try to modify what Matthias has shown you:
first range instead of 1 - 49, use 1 - 49.9999
last range instead of 51 - 100, 50.0001 - 100.

Yup. That seems to be the trick. Thanks, just reduced my programming time by a fraction of a minute
