What font color does the level of this channel have?
red
Ok, that means it's manual, so its source isn't a cue.
Are you saying that if you *** down the board with that channel off and you turn on the console, the channel is now on? Or could it be that the console was switched off with that channel still turned on?
So i turn all the channels/ cues off prior to shutting down. when I power on the board everything is off except 1 channel at full. there are no sliders up or anything.
You might have a startup macro that causes this.
At this point, it might be simplest for you to take logs from the console and email them to eos@etcconnect.com (following these directions: Retrieving or Saving Log Files from Eos Family Consoles - Electronic Theatre Controls Inc) If you do, please be sure to reference this Community Forum thread.
We have a similar problem only we get 3 or 4 Slimpar 64 LED lights that turn on when the element 2 console powers up even though nothing is set to be on in the console. We clear the lights only after we run a cue that controls these lights.
A difference is that no channel tiles are "lit". They are all blank like they would be with nothing selected. There is no startup macro in setup. We are running an Element 2 with EOS 3.0, but it has been doing this for the last year when we got the system (then running EOS 2.9).
when you say they light up, do they light up "nicely" (i.e. do all of them do the same thing, sam brightness, same color) or does each of them do their own thing?
