Help setting up Fader to control prizm rotation speed in ML fixture.

when you start to move the fader, is the prism already in rotation mode, but with a speed of 0?

background for my question: since in the content that's mapped to the fader you can only define what happens when the fader is at the top, the console relies on the current state for when the fader is at the bottom. so when you move the fader from 0 to the top you can get different results depending on what situation you're in at the moment you start moving the fader.

The Rotation-Parameter is set to Snap in the Fixture.
If you undo the Snap in the Fixture Editor, you can fade it via the Submaster.

Keep in Mind what ueli pointed out.
I like to set a Home Preset, with the Parameter that needs to fade, set to 0.
That will help that you don't fade over to the negative half of the values.

This also works for Strobe the same way.

The reason for this has passed. But seeing the last statement above give me something to look into to see if that would have addressed the problem I was trying to resolve. But I'm good & do not need any more assistance at this time.
