I would just like to add that i downloaded the latest Eos software and updated my macbook. When i load older show files the nomad software runs fine. But when i upload the showfile we are now working on on a Gio and an Ion, it is unworkable in Nomad. Everyhing freezes and eventually just stops working completely..
thanks for any tips to fix it? What could be causing this?
Running your show file on MacBookPro 16``(2019) Sonoma 14.5 and can't see any problem.
Maybe you update your Macbook (which type and year? EOS version?) and reinstall your nomad software,
it should the same version, language and library you have on the consoles. Last EOS version is 3.2.8
The problems only start really as soon as i try to go through the cues with space bar. Then the colour wheel starts spinning. Could you please try this also? thanks
I tried this with no problem. But I need some more infos about your system.
Macbook from 2021 with Sonoma 14.5
eos 3.2.8.25
fixture library 3.2.7.18
I tried it now again, the software basically crashes, it's impossible to work in the show file.. My plan was to prepare the touring shows.
Did you reinstall your Nomad software? Which kind of MacBook? Air/Pro, Intel / M1/2
yes i did. It is an M1 macbook Pro. The strange thing is that when i open an older different showfile everything runs perfectly. The problems in the Sancta showfile only start as soon as i try to run cues. Then everything starts to freeze.
