EOS and iPhone

I am now on my second iPhone, the first one successfully operated the IRFR app, the second and present iPhone will not. All settings seem to be correct, my iPhone is communication witht he wireless router,I know the router is communication with the EOS.

I am wondering if the APP is in someway tied to my old iPhone and will not work when you transfer to a new iPhone?

Any suggestions??

Thanks, but solved the problem now,which seems to have been the fact that DHCP was enabled on the Wireless Access point. With this disabled the iPhone now works.

I was having a disconnect issue after I upgraded to iOS 5 but then I made sure that my network settings on my phone were set to a static IP address. That solved my problem. Just make sure your ip address…

We are looking into some reports of having problems with iRFR when Data is enabled on the iPhone. We are still in the early phases of this investigation and are looking at different possible solutions.

Try putting the iphone in airplane mode and re-enabling Wi-Fi. You will not be able to receive calls in this configuration and you will need to restore the settings when you are done using the iRFR application. Let us know if this helps.

The above suggestion applies to frequent disconnects. Are you having problems with connecting in the first place? If so, you may want to check your connection settings in your iPhone. Make sure that it has a proper ETC IP address. Also, double check that your password and console IP are entered correctly under the settings menu in the iRFR app. As always, if you need help with this, please feel free to contact us in Tech Support.

I'm having problems connecting in the first place. I had no problems with my previous iPhone but no matter what settings I try on this iPhone it will not connect to the EOS. Which is why I wondered if this had something to do with moving the software from a previous iPhone to a new one? Does the APP expect to be running on the same phone all the time or are you able to move it from one phone to another and still get it to work?
