How to record a postion generated by an effect

I'm not sure I fully understand, but you can already record a combination between effect and parameter values in a preset.

If this is not what you're trying to do, please post your feature request in this section of the forum.

In Picture 1, these lamps are running an effect. I want to save the position material in this effect to the focus template. Because this design is very nice, I can do secondary programming.

Eos doesn't have a feature called Focus Template. Do you mean a focus effect, a focus palette or something else?

It's not about recording the effect, but the position of a certain moment within the effect.

In that case you'll have to use an effect with Stop&Hold function and stop the effect in the right moment. This will remove the effect, but leave its last values. These values are recordable.
