How to record a postion generated by an effect

When the stage lighting fixtures are running the P/T axis effect, I want to use the positions of these fixtures in the effect, but I can't record the P/T parameters in the effect to the focus template. If it could be recorded, I think there would be more position materials available for everyone to use.

  • NO,NO,NO,

It's not about recording the effect, but the position of a certain moment within the effect.
  • Ah, you're using the effect as a generator?

In that case you'll have to use an effect with Stop&Hold function and stop the effect in the right moment. This will remove the effect, but leave its last values. These values are recordable.

  • After the effect stops, the lamp will return to its initial state and cannot remain in the position I want.
  • I'm Chinese. I'm not very good at English. The translation software I used might have some inaccuracies in conveying the meaning, so did you understand what I meant?
  • This way, the positions seen during the operation can be saved for later use.
  • Yes, I understand!

The key is that the effect has an Exit behaviour of Stop&Hold.

  • NO,NO,NO

I need to determine the exact position by adjusting the speed of the effect sub.

  • You can determine the exact position with your effect sub, but then you have to Stop the effect. If the effect is set to Stop&Hold the channels will stay in their position and you can record. Currently you can't record the resulting values if the effect is still active.
