Black Out at startup

Hi all this might be a repost but-

When starting up my console I notice that the Black-out button has been depressed.
I was shutting down the console by going to the browser and clicking on shut down console. This shut down procedure was giving me a DMX death gasp almost every time.
One of the forum postings suggested using the Exit ION command and then shutting down the console from the shell. This seems to have cured the DMX death gasp but now I notice that the Blackout Key has been pressed at every start-up.
It's not a big deal as I have the Black Out key disabled but I am curious.

    Sorry for the issues you're having.  When the console is started, where is the Grandmaster fader?  Is it at full, zero, or inbetween?  The next time this happens, if you'd like to pull logs and send it to hh <at> etcconnect <dot> com, noting the date and time according to the board, it'd be greatly appreciated as we take a look at it.
