Live Screen Refresh

Hello,

I have an EOS thats about 3 weeks old, with an RVI.  After a few hours with the console on the RVI screens refresh slower and slower, until  there's a 30 second to 2 minute delay.  There's also a delay on commands entered locally (at the RVI on a QWERTY keyboard) but that delay is not be the same.  This delay is removed by rebooting the RVI, the console, or both.  I'm wondering if anyone has seen this and knows a solution.

 As a related question:

When I save, the time stamp that appears on the saved file on the console is one second after the time stamp that apears on the RVI.  Is the file also being saved on the RVI?

Thanks

David

  • Same here. Ours is similar age, and today, the first day of tech, my programmer noticed the same thing. We're not running a hardware RVI, but rather a laptop with the client software and dongle. We're in hour nine now, and the delay seems to be approximately fifteen seconds. It seems to be just display lag, the dimmers and fixtures are responding as they should. Weird.
