Feature and improvement suggestions

Feedback from users like you help us shape and improve Eos for all productions. We receive a large number of feature requests and suggestions from many sources, including this forum. Your comments and votes help us understand which features you’re passionate about, but there are many additional factors which inform development prioritization for any given release.

The most helpful information you can provide us when commenting on issues is how a particular suggestion would help you. If you describe your use-case and how the suggested change would benefit your work, it lets us gain a much deeper understanding of the need behind the suggestion. Suggestions often have an impact on what we work on, even if we ultimately choose not to implement a suggestion exactly as it’s described. Our ultimate goal is to understand what you and all users need and to create solutions that meet those needs. Occasionally, that’ll mean implementing a suggestion as described, but it usually means working to understand the need behind the suggestion and how we can meet that need for as many users as possible.

While we endeavor to update and respond to popular suggestions, the volume we receive means there will be occasions when we can’t provide an update or response in a timely manner.   • Display any parameter data on a magic sheet

    I'd like to have the ability to show the status/value down to the individual parameter level on a magic sheet and not just the category. For example - I want to see JUST the label for the beam palette that the Zoom parameter is in, without worrying...

  • When direct selects are set to display icon at center, move the target label to the center bottom

    As of now if I want a direct select to be represented by a big icon and not look messy, I either have to make the target label-less, which is not ideal, or prepend its label with six pipes to send it to the bottom of the direct select ("||||||Thing")...

  • Show Control - Enable thru to be used with event lists

  • Make FX rate and size faders recordable

    Changes made by rate and size faders are not recordable. When making changes with those faders, the rate and size numbers are not manual - and are therefore not recorded into cues.

  • Lock Magic sheets objects

    As needed, could be useful lock Magic sheets objects during edit mode to avoid unwanted movement. Always selectables, but lock to grid. Thank you Francesco

  • Alert-Time in CSV Export

    For a full show documentation, the software lacks the ability to export cue alert times. This should be added under the category cue sheet in the export Menu

  • Prism as a Parameter name
