Feature and improvement suggestions

Feedback from users like you help us shape and improve Eos for all productions. We receive a large number of feature requests and suggestions from many sources, including this forum. Your comments and votes help us understand which features you’re passionate about, but there are many additional factors which inform development prioritization for any given release.

The most helpful information you can provide us when commenting on issues is how a particular suggestion would help you. If you describe your use-case and how the suggested change would benefit your work, it lets us gain a much deeper understanding of the need behind the suggestion. Suggestions often have an impact on what we work on, even if we ultimately choose not to implement a suggestion exactly as it’s described. Our ultimate goal is to understand what you and all users need and to create solutions that meet those needs. Occasionally, that’ll mean implementing a suggestion as described, but it usually means working to understand the need behind the suggestion and how we can meet that need for as many users as possible.

While we endeavor to update and respond to popular suggestions, the volume we receive means there will be occasions when we can’t provide an update or response in a timely manner.     Submasters should be able to contain timing information, that is played back realtive to the submasters intensity. Exypanding this idea, palettes and presets could hold timing information as well.

    It would be great for third-party applications to be able to obtain the main general parameters of Eos in OSC, including language and library version. For example, in the same format as the version: eos/get/language and eos/get/library . Thanks!

    Hello, it would be convenient to get different augmented snapshots with different augmented visible elements (for exemple, only stage and pipes for the working time, then the whole venue for the show time, or get snapshots for different sets)

    Hey, would it be possible to Label Macros when on a button of a fader? Like shown fader 10 has macro 6 on a button and in macro config it is named. Would be easier because then you do not have to remember what macro 6 was. Thanks Lars

  • Disable Ctrl+Space Back with Alt+g

    The Alt+G spacebar Go disable should also disable Ctrl+spacebar back. If you are doing something such as building a magic sheet and copy/pasting and it’s possible to accidentally hit Ctrl+space when wanting to Ctrl+C/V.
