Congratulations to the entire Hog 3 team at HES on your release of the new 'Full Boar' console.

Looks like another great addition to the product family!

  • Yes indeed another fine add to the ever growing hog family....
from the little i read look's like my IPC might be going to a new home.

    Great news C
  • does this mean that the ipc has a limited life now? I have one of the orignial roadhogs and was looking at adding a ipc now I just grow the road hog family thanks guys the choise is now easy. All the fetures that Iw as after and now in the same layout.
  • Congratulations for the Full Board, this is a great step in Wholehog Family.
  • Hi,
is it the end of IPC?
What is the destinction from IPC to Board except hog2 to hog 3 pc on IPC?Has Road hog a good Price? Is on Road Hog Board Hog 3 PC?

    i am curiously

    greeeds from Germany
  • Wao, Full Boar is looking great!!! Will there be an upgrade kit for existing Roadhog to Full Boar?
  • Hmmm; does the phrase" I told you so" ring a bell about now Brad?
  • Foxrider,

Full Boar is the upgraded version of Road Hog. There will be no kits available.

    Happy Holidays,
  • I kinda wish id have known sooner there is an upgrade version in th pipeline.

Had the roadhog for a few months now and probably would have waited!!
  • Mike,

Think of all the gigs you would have missed out on if you had waited... If you really want a Full Boar, then you can take the revenue you have made on the Road Hog, sell that relatively new desk for a good price, and buy a Full Boar.

    Happy Holidays,
  • The Road Hog should have always been able to use external monitors and expand dmx and have artnet cabability. The DVD drive is just a gadget that could be there or not. I think we talked about this before and you made a big case on how the board was limited to make it affordable.
Funny how this new console comes out not too long after our discussions on this and how everyone I know has been saying the same thing!
Just like the X-spot. Releasing something that just isn't quite finished yet.
Sad part of the X-spot is that it will never get the opportunity to be finished cause it's already scrapped.:dunno:
  • Jeff,

    Jeff,
If the Road Hog always had all that the Full Boar has, then it would not have been in a position of the market of the Hog 500/1000. It is true that the Road Hog is limited to make it more affordable. The Full Boar fits in another market space and offers more choices for more users, yet it does cost more than a standard Road Hog.

This is not a matter of something not being finished, but rather a broad range of products for various prices and abilities. I can buy a truck from Chevy that comes in 4 different models, each with different costs and functions. This is the same thing.
  • Hi Brad,
Who is the destiction to IPC? if one needs then still a hog 3 Console?
  • The original road hog was meant to be a replacement for hog 500/1000 while RoadHog full boar is intended to further iPC by expanding on that original idea sans hog2. We will continue to deliver new products all the time.. We will respond to market demands on both price and volume of control.

The Hog OS is the same across all of our products and we only want to give users a control option despite the size of the budget and rig..

It only helps the hog line and we will continue to further the line.. Wait and see!!

    -Robbie
  • From my point of view is that maybe HES should consider an ungrade kit for the Roadhog to Full Boar. In this way, smaller rental companies will still consider buying the Roadhog and once they see the need for expansion, all they need is to purchase the upgrade kit to expand.
  • I agree with fox rider, an upgrade option would be good
