Upon Bootup, the ION Reports a CMOS Battery Failure.
Any thoughts? Is this something that can be replaced easily?
Does the ION need to be sent off to ETC to repair?

If you're still dealing with the CMOS battery issue, you can totally replace it yourself. It’s a pretty easy fix, and no need to send the ION off for repair. A lot of people mention using the CR2032, but for smaller devices like watches, I’ve found that the SR626SW works really well. If you’re still trying to figure out what to get, the SR626SW equivalent is a solid option I’ve used before in similar situations.

ETC as manufacturer of those consoles strongly recommends using the specified replacements.
CR2032 (that's the one you're supposed to use) supplies 3V, SR626SW supplies 1.5V. Moreover is SR626SW the wrong size.
So please, use the battery we as the manufacturer of your lighting console suggest.
