Feature and improvement suggestions

Feedback from users like you help us shape and improve Eos for all productions. We receive a large number of feature requests and suggestions from many sources, including this forum. Your comments and votes help us understand which features you’re passionate about, but there are many additional factors which inform development prioritization for any given release.

The most helpful information you can provide us when commenting on issues is how a particular suggestion would help you. If you describe your use-case and how the suggested change would benefit your work, it lets us gain a much deeper understanding of the need behind the suggestion. Suggestions often have an impact on what we work on, even if we ultimately choose not to implement a suggestion exactly as it’s described. Our ultimate goal is to understand what you and all users need and to create solutions that meet those needs. Occasionally, that’ll mean implementing a suggestion as described, but it usually means working to understand the need behind the suggestion and how we can meet that need for as many users as possible.

While we endeavor to update and respond to popular suggestions, the volume we receive means there will be occasions when we can’t provide an update or response in a timely manner.   • Better support for Arduino enabled boards for OSC over USB

    In the moment only Arduino UNO and MEGA are supported for OSC over USB. There should more boards supported: - Arduino Nano Series (Arduino Nano Every ...) - Teensy - STM32 Nucleo boards (stm32duino) https://github.com/stm32duino/Arduino_Core_STM32

  • Drag tabs to new frames

    Re-arranging the tabs into new frames/window is a pain. A simple click/tap and drag to the new frame would make re-arranging your content very fast. Want your Augment3d with all your current settings in the other window, just drag that tab to the frame...
  • same syntax in the patch and in the augmented editor for placing fixtures

    hello, i wonder why in the patch, to determinate X Y or Z, we have to use [.] while in the editor we have to use [,]. To be honest, would be quite more convenient to use dot everywhere.
  • Flexi View Chans in Partition 0

    While in Partition 0, you're unable to select things on the cmd line- which also prevents you from selecting channels to flexi View Chans. Would be lovely if you could still flexi View Chans for fixtures not in your partition.
  • Augment3D on Apple Silicon natively

    Would it be possible to pass Augment3D in native Apple silicon? Because on Mac Silicon, AUgment3D is very slow on large MVR configs.. Thank you so much !
  • Enable clicking on the fader Cell in the submaster tab ( tab 15) so faders can be assigned.

  • Ext Links/Effects/Curves in PSD shows target labels

    Basically what the title says; Being able to label a macro that then gets executed by a cue list and having the label show up in the PSD. Same for effects, I would love just seeing "Lightning Burst 2" show up in the FX column.
